College Readiness Summary
On 03/28, we proudly hosted our College Readiness Event to support Arab and Iraqi American parents and students in understanding the U.S. education system and preparing for the path to higher education. The workshop created a welcoming space where families could ask questions, gain practical knowledge, and feel more confident about the college journey ahead.
During the session, we discussed academic planning, career exploration, admissions requirements, financial aid, scholarships, standardized testing, and important application timelines. Families also benefited from one-on-one guidance and meaningful conversations tailored to their students’ goals and interests.
The event was about more than college applications. It was about empowering families with knowledge, strengthening support at home, and encouraging students to pursue their future with confidence, ambition, and pride. We are grateful to everyone who attended and helped make the event a success.
